When I was a bit younger, I decided to start a project. I had squares of cardstock, patterned on one side and white on the other, and I cut each square into 4 cards. Then I wrote out 100 Bible verses. Some of the cards contained more than one verse, or half a verse, but there were at least 100 cards in total. So, I decided to choose 30 of my favorites from this collection. And here they are!

ree

“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth?

Tell me, if you have understanding.” (Job 38:4)

Or who stretched the line upon it?” (Job 38:5)

or who laid its cornerstone,” (Job 38:6)

and all the sons of God shouted for joy?” (Job 38:7)

I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1 B)

and fountains in the midst of the valleys.

I will make the wilderness a pool of water,

and the dry land springs of water.” (Isaiah 41:18)

the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive.

I will set in the desert the cypress,

the plane and the pine together,” (Isaiah 41:19)

“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand

and marked off the heavens with a span,

enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure

and weighed the mountains in scales

and the hills in a balance?” (Isaiah 40:12)

“Who has measured the Spirit of the Lord,

or what man shows him his counsel?” (Isaiah 40:13)

    they shall be as white as snow;
