Welcome back!
This month I want to look at a set of photos I took of my dog Harley this past week. I spent about fifteen minutes taking these photos, using a Canon camera, and it was about 2 P.M, the sun just starting to go down.
When I take pictures of dogs I bring one extra thing with me. Treats. Getting a dog to sit nicely and look at the camera will be close to impossible without either a treat or a toy. For the photos below I used some simple beef treats that Harley loves.
You also need to decide what kind of background you want in your photo. For this set of photos I wanted a nice fall background and chose a place where leaves were scattered on the ground.
Keep in mind, when taking photos of your dog the commands they know.
So grab your camera and go take a photo that tells a story, beyond the frame.
